What is left to spend per day?
Subtract spending and any extra commitments from your period budget, then divide by the days left, including today. This is budget arithmetic; an unrecorded bill or purchase can change the answer.

The formula and its limits
Daily amount = max(0, budget − recorded spending − extra commitments) ÷ days left. We include today and the last day. A period ending today has one day left. A date in the past produces an error instead of an invented allowance. The display rounds to two decimal places; the calculation keeps the unrounded result.
Only subtract extra commitments once. If next week's rent is already included in recorded spending, leave it out of the extra-commitments field. This calculator offers an optional reserve you choose; it is not an exact replica of every TrackExpenses forecasting scenario.
